Sobriety Bracelet, Lemon Calcite & White Onyx
A sobriety or recovery bracelet is a visual reminder of the benefits of a new way of life. This eye-catching bracelet is made with member of 12 Step Recovery groups in mind, and has12 beads to represent the 12 steps of the recovery programme.
I've used lemon calcite and white howlite gemstone rondelle beads, separated with small golden brass beads. The first three step beads are white howlite, followed by a jet Swarovski crystal butterfly. Placed at this point in the bracelet the butterfly emphasises the importance of the first 3 steps, and is a symbol of transformation and hope.
At the front of the bracelet is a golden pewter ring stamped with the word "Unity" - a reminder of the power of the fellowship group. Three recovery-themed charms hang from this ring - a Unity pendant which is the symbol of recovery, a small bronze cross for faith, and an open heart.
The pictured bracelet is a large size. You can leave me a message when you go through the checkout procedures to let me know what size bracelet you would like.
Here is a general guide to sizing:
Women - Small: 16cm (6."), Medium: 17cm (6.5"), Large: 18cm (7"), Larger: 19cm (7.5"), X-Large: 20cm (8").
Measure your wrist where you want to wear the bracelet and order that size if you want it to sit firmly on your wrist, or the next size up for a looser fit.
Smaller and larger bracelets may have more or less of the wee spacer beads to achieve the required size, but the overall design will be balanced and just as pretty.
This bracelet would make a great gift for anyone in recovery, for a sponsor or sponsee, or make it a special gift for yourself. It comes attractively wrapped with a pamphlet about recovery bracelets.
