Saint Dymphna Pocket Rosary, Christian Saint Prayer Beads
Saint Dymphna is an Irish saint from the 7th century, whose own story has resulted in her becoming the patron saint of people suffering from stress and psychological problems as well as those suffering from domestic abuse.
This little rosary (chaplet) is based on the Anglican rosary, and is about one-quarter of the full set of prayer beads. These small sets are popular for shorter prayer sessions, and for people on the move as they are easy to slip into a pocket or bag.
The 7 prayer beads are 9mm faceted emerald crystal, and the two front beads are 10mm blue hematite beads carved in a rose design. At one end is a medal of St Dymphna, and at the other is a pewter cross with an antiqued silver finish.
Length: 25cm / 10 inches;
Cross: 2.5cm / 1 inch;
Medal: 2.5cm / 1 inch.
All my chaplets and rosaries come with a card explaining a bit about the layout and suggested prayers and in attractive packaging to brighten your day, or so they are ready for gift-giving.
