Meditation Beads, Rudraksha Beads & White Pearls, Ceramic Buddha Figure
Meditation beads to be held in the hands to assist with clearing the mind and for counting repetitions of mantras, breaths, affirmations or prayers. This set features rudraksha seed beads, white pearls and a ceramic buddha figure bead.
Handling your set of beads can help to stop "mental chatter" and involves both the mind and body, so making it easier to move into a quiet place during your session. Many people find that simply keeping their beads handy (in a pocket for example) can help bring calm in challenging situations.
I've made this set with beads made from the seed of the Indian rudraksha tree's fruit. Rudraksha is often believed to symbolize the link between the earth and the heaven, and has been used in mala and mediation beads for centuries.
I've combined the textured reddish brown beads with snowy white Swarovski® crystal pearls and tiny glass and brass spacer beads for ease of handling. They are made with 49-strand stainless steel jewelry wire, and will last for many years of regular use.
The set begins and ends with a delightful handmade ceramic bead of Buddha, made in Peru.
