Christian Rosary Bracelet Saint Benedict Medal - Anglican Wrist Rosary
This bracelet is a small portion of the Anglican rosary (also known as the Christian rosary), which can be worn as a bracelet. A lovely way to carry a small set of prayer beads with you, this bracelet features a small Saint Benedict medal. St Benedict has influenced the practice of Christianity in the Anglican Church as much as any one saint, thinker, or writer.
I've used 7mm round glossy hematite beads for the 7 prayer beads, and 2 8mm faceted hematite beads for the beginning prayers - called the invitatory bead and the cruciform bead. All the beads are separately hand-linked with brass rosary wire so the bracelet drapes nicely around your wrist.
The two faceted beads are finished with wee dark blue and dark red Swarovski® crystals - St Benedict's colors - and 2 larger crystals finish the design right before the clasp. Between the beads hangs a small fancy brass cross and a little medal of St Benedict with his ward (prayer of protection).
A card accompanies the bracelet which has prayers for using the bracelet as a chaplet rosary for prayer.
Length of pictured bracelet: 18cm (7 inches) which is the right size for a wrist measuring 15.5cm (6 inches).
• Bracelet length and wrist size are not the same thing. • To find what bracelet length is best for you, measure your wrist just above the wristbone where you wear a watch, then ADD another 2.5cm (1 inch) to that measurement. That is the length bracelet you need.
Average bracelet Lengths:
small - 18cm / 7"
medium - 19cm / 7.5"
large - 20cm / 8"
X-lge - 21.5cm / 8.5"
You can choose the length bracelet you want from the drop down menu before checkout. You can also choose to have a short brass extension/growth chain added at the clasp for no extra cost.
