Christian Rosary Beads - Anglican, Episcopal & Protestant Prayer Beads
The Christian rosary is used by many Christian religions worldwide as an aid to contemplative prayer. It is also called the Anglican rosary, Protestant rosary and Epsicopal rosary, each of these faiths using the same layout of 33 beads in their prayer beads.
I've made this rosary with beautiful clear sapphire blue Czech glass beads, a color strongly associated with the Virgin Mary in Christin art. The four groups of 7 "week" beads are 8mm round, and the "cruciform" beads between the groups are 12mm faceted crystal.
The rosary begins and ends with a simple silver pewter cross. At the top of the cross is a cluster of 3 little Swarovski® crystals whose sparkle represents the light of the Holy Trinity.
All the beads are hand-linked with silver rosary wire, meaning to rosary drapes well through the hands. I've finished the larger beads with fancy silver bead caps and tiny Swarovski® crystals then wire-wrapped them to give extra strength where needed - and to give that unique handmade look to the set.
Length from mid-back to end of cross: 32cm / 12.6 inches
Cross: 4cm / 1.6 inches
This rosary will last for many years of prayer and is covered by my life-time rosary guarantee. It comes in a handmade (by me) lined cotton rosary pouch to store it in.
