Anglican Prayer Beads - Pocket Rosary, Matthew 28:20
"I am with you always" - Matthew 28:20. A beautiful statement which is engraved in the rose-gold pewter disc on this Anglican chaplet rosary.
This is a small rosary or chaplet, sometimes called a pocket rosary, which is about one-quarter of the full-size Anglican rosary. The name pocket rosary is simply because its smaller size means it is easy to slip into a pocket or handbag when you are on the move.
The prayer beads are blue goldstone, a man-made material that fuses copper and quartz under great pressure and heat, producing a hard stone with a faint shimmer in the light. The navy ble beads are so dark they look black - until you turn them. The prayer beads are separated with a pattern of little Czech glass and copper beads for ease of handling.
The chaplet has 7 prayer beads in a loop, and two larger beads in the front drop. A copper cross and the disc begin and end the rosary. A pamphlet about the Anglican rosary is included, which has some suggestions for how to use this set as an aid to contemplative prayer.
Length: 22.5cm / 9 inches
Cross: 2.5cm / 1 inch tall
Medallion: 2cm / 0.8 inch
This is a compact and lightweight little rosary, lovely for personal use or for gifting. It comes attractively packaged along with the pamphlet.
